From 1993 to 2003, he was associated with Ernst & Young, where he worked as a tax and customs manager for such companies as ESSO, Wrigley, MAN, ARAL. Expert for the Ministry of Finance in legislative work on the development of the Customs Code. Lecturer at numerous tax seminars, including for the Institute for International Research in Vienna and Vision in Business in Warsaw. He is fluent in English, with German and Spanish at a basic level.

Graduate of the Poznań University of Economics, tax advisor registered on the list maintained by the Minister of Finance and member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). For 8 years he worked in the Big Four companies. Heading the VAT and Customs Duty Team in the Poznań office of Ernst & Young, and then heading the Poznań office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, he gathered extensive experience working for such companies as SC Johnson, Reemtsma, Aral, Netia, Stihl, Lucas, Wrigley, Volkswagen and BP. For several years he was the chief tax advisor in Poland for the Portuguese company Jeronimo Martins. He is fluent in English.
