What does cooperation with our law firm look like?
A family foundation is a long-term family project. Therefore, all important legal and tax issues related to its implementation should be well thought out. With this in mind, we generally implement the Project in the stages described below. Of course, in consultation with the client, we can also organise the cooperation in a way that is more convenient for the client.
1 STEP
Meeting
We will talk about your family, business and wealth situation. We will determine what goals you would like to achieve with a family foundation and clarify any doubts you may have. The first meeting is free of charge – it will be attended by a legal advisor and a tax advisor. The meeting does not commit you to any of the steps 2-6 below.
2 STEP
Analysis
We will analyse your family, business and asset situation and then provide you with our written opinion on the feasibility of achieving through a family foundation the objectives you have set out, in particular the possible solutions. In the opinion we will include tax simulations of the proposed solutions so that you can compare the effective taxation of your income in the current business structure and in a structure of which a family foundation would be a part.
3 STEP
Overview of the opinion

4 STEP
Establishing the terms of cooperation
If you decide to go ahead with the project, we will prepare and agree with you a written contract setting out the principles of cooperation.
5 STEP
Preparation of the project schedule
We will prepare a project schedule describing all the steps necessary for the Project with a division of tasks into those carried out by our Firm and those carried out by you or requiring your cooperation. If the implementation of the Project requires agreed changes to your business, these will also be included in the schedule.
6 STEP
Project implementation
We implement the Project according to the schedule agreed with you.
